Blagojevich seems to be getting an unfair hearing…

Well I’m watching CNN right now about the Blagojevich scandal…While I do believe that the guy showed weak morals and should resign, it really isn’t fair that he isn’t allowed to bring all his witnesses and play all the FBI tapes. Of course it is most likely a circus-act to waste time and delay things, but he should still have the right to do so. If he was requesting things unrelated to his hearing then it would make sense to not grant his requests, but when it’s about witnesses and secret recordings of him, then regaurdless of how trivial most of the information is, the fair and just thing to do is let him bring out all the evidence. I believe the prosecutors that there is not relevent information in most of it, but then whats the harm of playing it all? A few days wasted, but nothing negative. The slim chance that he really isn’t the kind of guy that prosecutors paint him as is enough to justify wasting a little time of some senators and governors.Similar Posts:

How many other Michael Solan’s are there out there?

From my limited knowledge of my geneology, I know there most Solans trace back to a specific area of Ireland. The Solan last name has had some changes, and from what I have been told we are related to the Solano family name from a name change way back when. If you have any information on the family history of the Solan family, geneology information, or links the familty ancestery records, please post them here in a comment! Solan genealogy and family ancestery records would be very interesting, and I would love to post some on the site!

So I’m pretty drunk and having enough trouble with the keyboard and mouse. Just finishing up on the computer before a crash out, and i have the tv on at my side which has been playing infomercials for hours.

BUT WAIT! THERE’S MORE!

Haha, i hate that cliche infomercial line. Seriously, do people really believe that buying 10 overpriced template websites will make them millionares? Do they believe all those guys who told the cameraman that they got a $40,000 check for just yesterday alone from their cookie-cutter, mass produced, overpriced spammy template online store? The idiots who grabbed the phone at midnight after being convinced by the slob “millionaire” deserved what just happened too them. In a couple weeks they will realize they got ripped off, but if they believed an infomercial that cheesey, im sure it happens to them all the time. If anyone could get rich without effort - no, if they could barely scrape by in life without effort - and such a system was sold on national tv, then obviously every capitalist economy in existance would collapse within a week. And that’s just common sense! This company must only play these infomercials because they are profitable, so it boggles my mind that there are that many people out there stupid enough to toss logic to the wind and throw $39.99 away at a time, in such large masses that that nightly total exceeds the costs of paying for an hour slot of national TV! The show literally showed two young women laughing as they tossed handfulls of $100 bills around, right after showing the greasy sleezebag of a guy who claimed to have made a million within months, and was showing his ‘checks.’ Right there, not more than a split second thinking required, even for a drunk guy like me, to put two and two together. If they supposedly get checks, why would people cash the checks into huge piles of hundred dollar bills just to take home and cheesily throw around? To the people who are swayed by such marketing tactics, HELLO, IDIOTS! Any company that would go through the trouble of staging such an unrealisticly egxagerated scene is obviously going to such extremes for a reason. Obviously if people really made that much they wouldnt act that way, and obviously if this company’s mass-produced template websites made so much, they wouldnt be selling them for $39.99 per ten-pack, saturating the online market with competition. If so many people could become millionaires, then the people who wrote the software could have been nearly billionaires if they never shared the template. Anyone desperately trying to sell you something that they claim will make millions without effort for 40 bucks is obviously a horrible liar.

But I’m not that pissed at the scam artists that run these infomercials. I’m pissed because I know that if they keep running thses shows, then theres a shitload of idiots out there gleefully throwing money at them, believing every ounce of bullshit that comes out of their mouth, which just keeps propetuating the infomercial industry.

So those of you out there that bought that ‘million dollar website kit’, or that ‘miracle curling iron’ that was on for the next hour, or the bulky, expensive machine that sucks the air out of food bags before sealing them (Um, isn’t that what a ziplock bag does? Oh yeah, you have to push the air out yourself), those of you who were foolish enough to even believe their claims for a second, let me guess - you already stocked up on your ShamWows last month!

Haha, I’m not even going to get into that shamwow beyond pointing out (once again, the effin’ obvious) When he shows the soda under the carpet piece, the soda is puddled beyond the carpet, then suddenly when he says “We’re going to do this in real time, are you following me cameraguy?’ you notice that there is no soda puddle anymore. Of course they lie and cheat on the commercial, it would take an idiot to believe it, but I’m fine with them editing out the part where they switch out the soaked carpet for a nearly dry one. The part that pisses me off is he says it is real time and calls on the camera guy to show real time, exactly during the scene that they edited! It’s like an effing slap to the face! It’s a Sham! Wow! I cant believe there are so many people out there stupid enough that commercials like these are the most profitable way to go for these companies! I’ll bet those people would buy a jar of dog shit if Billy Mays assured them that it would magically remove any stain from any surface.

Damn, this rant started to sober me up, and now theres a biblical infomercial on. If so many people believe in overnight millionaire sucess for $40 and magical ShamWows, them I’m up against a brick fuckin’ fall here, and I’m not even about to begin on the logical flaws of most religions.Similar Posts:
